Cancellation and Refunds

How to cancel a booking request, the free cancellation window, cancellations due to weather and how refunds work.

Who sets the rules?

The cancellation window for each tour is set by the operator running it and is stated clearly on the tour page. The rules below are the general framework that applies unless the tour page says otherwise.

For bookings made on partner marketplaces (affiliate links), cancellation and refunds follow the rules of the platform where you booked; you need to send your request there.

Free cancellation

For most tours, cancellations made up to 24 hours before the start are free. This window can vary per tour; the "free cancellation" information on the tour page is what binds.

How to cancel

  1. If you are a member, open the My bookings page in your account; as a guest, use the voucher link in your confirmation e-mail.
  2. Use the cancellation option for that booking, or write to the e-mail address in the identity panel quoting your booking reference.
  3. Do not treat the process as complete until you receive an e-mail confirming the cancellation.

Cancellation by the operator

A tour may be cancelled by the operator because of weather, sea conditions, failure to reach the minimum number of participants, safety or force majeure. In that case you are offered two options: moving to another date or a full refund of what you paid.

If the itinerary, route or times have to change for compelling reasons, the change is notified within a reasonable time; if you do not accept it, you have the right to cancel free of charge.

The refund process

Payment is currently not collected on the site: you pay for the tour on the day or by the method the operator states. Refunds are therefore made by the party that received the payment — the tour operator.

  • Refunds are made using the same payment method and in the same currency.
  • Bank and card processing times are outside the operator’s control; for card payments a refund can take up to 14 days to appear in your account.
  • Third-party deductions such as exchange differences or transfer fees may affect the refunded amount.

When online payment is introduced on the site, this section will be updated and the withdrawal-right information required by distance selling rules will be added. Note: under Turkish law there is no right of withdrawal for accommodation, transport and leisure services performed on a specific date; for such tours the operator’s cancellation policy applies.

Complaints and disputes

If something goes wrong with a tour we suggest contacting the operator first; if it is not resolved, write to us using the addresses in the identity panel — as intermediary we will follow the matter up. If you are a consumer, your right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts is reserved in every case.
